Hi Steven
After googling I found your above post on obtaining your public IP address.
I am trying to do much the same thing (except I'm after the Latitude and Longitude).

But I tried your code and it doesn't seem to work for me. You did say "the website could change its structure". Can you point me in the right direction to get the IP or even better the Latitude and Longitude.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Regards

I was thinking if how you would use the codes above in outputting keys which are not in the keyboard. we were asked to do something like that.

for example: press ctrl+alt+f
then it would just output function symbol(ƒ).

how could i do it in html/javascript?

Steve - I'm on the PEAR Group and a PEAR QA team member - I'd be very interested to see phpkeystore available through the PEAR repository itself if you're still interested.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, this is true. The formulas are pre-configured. However, we do have plans to add the ability to add custom formulas. Not sure when, but it's in the works.

Hi, so far as I can tell, Foruma Sensei does not function as a customized formula calculator. Is that correct? If so, is it possible you can create a version that permits users to create whatever formulae they wish?

Detecting Shift + Enter is a bit more tricky, especially with cross-browser considerations. I found the following links enlightening:

http://www.simpltry.com/2007/01/04/shift-key-detection/

http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-102141.html

Basically, in your keypress handler event, you want to detect if event.shiftKey is true AND event.keyCode == 13.
